Connect To Eloqua Using OAuth
To make connecting with Eloqua in the Kapost App Center easier and more secure, OAuth can be used rather than entering your Eloqua credentials.
You can use OAuth to connect Eloqua in Kapost for the first time or update your connection.
- Updating your current Eloqua connection to use OAuth will not impact any existing Eloqua assets in Kapost and no data will be lost.
Configure OAuth
- Navigate to the App Center in Kapost from the settings menu on the left navigation bar
- Select Eloqua from the list of apps
- Choose your instance in the dropdown and click Install
- Click Configure OAuth
- Change the Toggle to Yes
- Click Connect
- Follow the OAuth prompts in Eloqua by logging in and allowing Kapost to access Eloqua
If you're seeing an error message like the one below, it could be caused by a couple of things:
- In the Instance field, you must enter your "CompanyName" if you're using a username and password, not OAuth, to connect.
- This message will appear if you're using OAuth and the user trying to connect hasn't had OAuth enabled for them.
